ReTargeting is the simplest and at the same time most efficient form of personalized advertising
How does ReTargeting work?
The procedure works as follows: If a visitor was on a website (usually on an online shop), he is marked. This is usually done using cookies. As soon as the user then surfs on other websites, he will be identified using the cookies and then he can be targeted with personalized advertising to bring him back to the first shop.
The purpose of this process is to remind users who have already shown an interest in a particular website or product of their existence and make him return for the purchase. If possible, they should be moved to a purchase decision in order to increase the turnover of the shop. ReTargeting will only reach users who have already visited the website.
